Healing begins with someone who truly listens.
Meet Our Founder, Dr. Nia Spicer-Thomas, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
“I know what it feels like to search for answers — and not be heard.”
Dr. Nia Spicer-Thomas, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience and a lifelong commitment to women’s wellness. Her own health journey began at 16 after being misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia — leading to years of fatigue, pain, and inflammation.
In 2016, she developed chronic BV, UTIs, and yeast infections that left her feeling defeated and disconnected from her body. When conventional medicine offered only temporary fixes, she relied on her clinical training and passion for natural healing to dig deeper. That search revealed the true root cause: PCOS.
Through functional testing, nutrition, and holistic care, Dr. Spicer-Thomas began to heal — and in that healing, she discovered her purpose. She created pHembiotics, a women’s probiotic line designed to restore balance naturally, and founded Olive Branch Total Wellness, an integrative telehealth practice dedicated to helping women heal from the root up.
Today, her mission is simple: to help women feel whole, hopeful, and at peace in their bodies again. Outside of caring for patients, she spends time with family, explores new places, and advocates for women’s reproductive rights — continuing the work that began with her own story.
